Tim Gallagher
Executive Director - Northern Assets
Tim is responsible for the management of all operational aspects of the AAM Northern Assets, utilising his extensive experience in the management and development of livestock and farming operations in Northern Australia. This experience provides AAM with a stable platform to execute on the strategic plans identified during due diligence of each investment.
Tim has been responsible for the oversight of large diversified irrigated and dryland cropping aggregations in central and southern Queensland producing cotton and cereal crops.
From 2011 Tim was the Managing Director of CRF Limited (CRF), one of Australia’s largest lamb processors based at Colac, Victoria, processing over 1.5 million sheep and lambs per year for Coles and export markets.
Prior to that, from 2010, Tim held a number of key executive positions with Australian Agriculture Company (AACo), including the role of General Manager of breeding and trading where he was responsible for the management and strategic direction of the company’s northern breeding and growing stations with over 500,000 head of cattle across 6.7 million hectares.
From 2004 to 2010, Tim was responsible for developing AACo’s supply chains for live export, domestic and branded feedlot and wagyu markets and as such he has extensive experience in cattle trading across Northern Australia and marketing into the live export, store and feeder markets.
