The Pastoral Development Trust was established to acquire Legune Station, located in the Northern Territory close to the Western Australia border and now includes and aggregation of three properties near Katherine, NT. Legune Station has the potential to become a highly profitable cattle station with diversified income streams. The cattle station benefits from a reduced risk of drought due to the significance and annual reliability of the water storage on site.

The core investment strategy for the PDT is to improve beef cattle production by:

• establishing a supplementary feeding program focused on increasing weight gains;

• improving the genetics of the herd to increase the marketability of the cattle;

• utilising the significant water resources via:

• enhanced irrigation techniques; and

• dam infrastructure developments; and

• utilising road infrastructure improvements that will improve the businesses ability to sell cattle during the wet season (monsoon) where prices are historically higher.
