Michelle Whatham
CFO - Regional Infrastructure

Michelle is involved in the ongoing financial review and analysis, and provides information and support to our operational managers to ensure the efficient operation of the saleyards.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from the University of Newcastle, and is a Chartered Accountant with over 23 years’ experience in the accounting industry prior to joining the RLX Group. Michelle’s specialisation has been in the agribusiness sector, with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business growth promotion.

Michelle has a strong agricultural background and an in depth understanding of the livestock industry, in particular livestock marketing. Her meticulous approach to financial matters and business performance measures are a key strength to group in ensuring the necessary attention to detail in the delivery of services to clients.

Michelle and her husband own a beef cattle breeding enterprise in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, which has been operating for over 20 years.
