Ben Matigian

Ben oversees all aspects of the investment process, from conducting due diligence on new assets to managing existing funds. Leading a team of investment professionals, he works closely with the operational team to develop the financial and commercial strategies for each project.

With over 17 years of corporate finance experience, Ben has a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, capital structuring, and debt financing, having held key roles at NAB, Credit Suisse, and Ernst & Young. His expertise includes structuring and distributing equity and debt transactions across Australia and Europe.

For the past decade, Ben has focused on the agriculture sector, joining AAM in 2018 to help build a premium portfolio of agricultural assets. Under his leadership, AAM has secured capital commitments totaling ~$1bn in asset value.
